PAYMENT POLICY

This policy explains how payments are accepted and processed when you place an order with East West Essentials.

1. Accepted payment methods

Available options are displayed securely at checkout and may include:

  • Major credit and debit cards
  • UPI and supported digital payment methods
  • Cash on Delivery (COD)

Only a payment option displayed at checkout is available for the selected order and delivery address.

2. Currency and charges

Orders are charged in Indian Rupees (INR). The product price, applicable discounts, shipping charge and final order total are shown before you confirm payment.

For prepaid orders, payment is submitted when the order is placed. We do not add an undisclosed payment fee after checkout.

3. Cash on Delivery

When COD is available for your order, it will appear as a payment option at checkout. Payment is collected at delivery according to the instructions provided by the delivery partner.

If COD does not appear at checkout, please select one of the available prepaid methods.

4. Payment confirmation

An order is confirmed only after the checkout confirmation page is displayed and an order confirmation is issued. Please verify your payment status before attempting the same transaction again.

If money is debited but no order confirmation is received, contact us with the payment reference. Bank reversals for unsuccessful transactions are controlled by the payment provider or issuing bank.

5. Payment security

Online payments are processed through Shopify's checkout and the payment providers shown there. East West Essentials does not store your complete card or UPI credentials on this theme.

Never share an OTP, card PIN or banking password with anyone claiming to represent our store.

6. Refunds

Approved prepaid-order refunds are returned to the original payment method. Approved COD-order refunds are processed by bank transfer or UPI after the required details are securely confirmed.

7. Payment support

For payment assistance, include your name, order number (if available), transaction reference and a brief description of the issue. Do not send full card details, PINs, passwords or OTPs.
