Refund policy
Thank you for shopping with East West Essentials! We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our return and refund policy carefully, which adheres to Google Merchant Center and Shopping Ads guidelines.
1. General Return & Exchange Period

All return and exchange requests must be initiated within 7 days of the delivery date.
2. Damaged or Incorrect Products (Free Returns)
If you receive a damaged product or an item that does not match your order, we will gladly arrange a free return and replacement.

Proof Required: To process a return or exchange for damaged/incorrect products, you must provide:

A 360° uncut video recording of the package while opening.

Clear photos of the invoice and shipping label.

Without proper video and photos, return or exchange requests for damaged or incorrect products cannot be processed.

Procedure:

Send an email to hello@eastwest-essentials.com with your order number, video, and photos within 7 days of delivery.

Once confirmed, we will arrange for the collection of the incorrect/damaged item.

Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will promptly dispatch a replacement to you at no additional cost.

3. Returns Due to Dislike or Fit Issues (Customer-Initiated Returns)
If you wish to return a product because you don't like it or it doesn't fit (and it's not a damaged/incorrect product), a return fee will apply.

Return Fee: A nominal return fee of Rs. 200 per product will be charged. This fee covers the costs associated with processing the pickup, handling, packaging, and logistics.

Refunds for Customer-Initiated Returns:

Refunds will be processed within 5 working days or less after the returned product has been received and inspected.

The refund amount will be the product's price minus the Rs. 200 return fee.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

4. Exchange Policy (Size Exchanges Only)
As per our company policy, we do not offer refunds or accept returns once a product has been sold, except for damaged/incorrect items or size exchanges. We primarily offer size exchanges under the following conditions:

Eligibility:

Return/Exchange requests must be initiated within 7 days of the product's delivery.

The product must be unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, with all original labels and tags intact, and in its original packaging.

First Size Exchange (Free):
-
If the size you ordered does not fit, you can request a size exchange for a different size of the same product.

The first size exchange for a particular product is free.
-

Second Size Exchange (Charged):
-
A second exchange for the same product is generally not permitted.
-
In special, approved cases, a second exchange may be processed with a ₹300 charge.

Procedure for Exchange:

To request an exchange, please send an email to hello@eastwest-essentials.com with your exchange request within 7 days of delivery.

Once acknowledged by our team, we will arrange for the collection of the original parcel.

Once the pickup is completed, please share either the return slip or a screenshot provided by the courier agent as confirmation. If not collected within 2-5 days, please update us.

Upon receiving your confirmation and successful collection of the original item, we will proceed with dispatching your exchange parcel.

Please include your name, address, email, and the desire/details for the exchange on a note inside the parcel.

5. Limitations on Exchanges:

Only one exchange is permitted per order.

Size exchanges are available for a bigger or smaller size of equal value to the exchanged product.
6. Cancellation of Orders

Cash on Delivery (COD) orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placement by emailing us at hello@eastwest-essentials.com.

By placing an order, the customer agrees not to dispute East West Essentials’s decision and accepts our judgment regarding cancellations.
7. Credit Note for Unavailable Sizes

If the desired size for an exchange is unavailable, we will issue a credit note.

This credit note will be sent to your email and can be utilized for your next purchase on the East West Essentials website.

Please ensure you use the credit within 30 days of its issuance.
8. Partial Order Exchange

Yes, you can exchange eligible products within 7 days of delivery. Please note that certain items may not be returnable or exchangeable (see "Non-Acceptance of Exchanges" below).
9. Non-Acceptance of Returns/Exchanges
We do not accept returns or exchanges for the following reasons:

Dissatisfaction with Material or Color: We strongly recommend thoroughly reading the product description and reviewing all product images before making a purchase. You can also contact us for further details about the product.

Handcrafted Variations: Our products are meticulously crafted by skilled artisans, and minor variations in color, finish, and overall appearance may occur. These variations can be influenced by the accuracy of your monitor's or mobilr's display, and we appreciate your understanding.

Color Difference: There may be a 05-08% color difference depending on your device's screen resolution and camera lighting. We do not accept exchanges or returns for color variations in such cases.

Washed or Worn Products: Exchanges/Returns are not accepted for products that have been washed or worn.

Sale Items: Products purchased from the SALE section are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
